Mark Speaker, M.D., Ph.D. is a Corneal, LASIK & Cataract Surgeon in New York City, New York where he is the Founder of Laser and Corneal Surgery Associates, P.C. He performs Cataract Surgery in New York City for Cataract patients from throughout NYC and Manhattan New York. Dr. Speaker received his Medical Degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Further, in order to become a Corneal Specialist in New York, Dr. Speaker completed a Fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at Wills Eye Hospital prior to returning to perform Cataract Surgery in NYC. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at New York Medical College and has served as the Director of the Cornea Service at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary as well as the Director of Resident Training at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary where he taught eye surgeons LASIK and Cataract Surgery in Manhattan. Dr. Speaker is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has served on the Program Committee of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Program Chairman for the International Society of Refractive Surgery and on the Board of Directors of the Cornea Society. He has been elected by his peers for inclusion in Best Doctors in America® from 2007 to 2008.
