Jeffrey S. Rohr, D.O. is a Refractive and Cataract Surgeon in Flint where he is the Founder and Chief Surgeon at Rohr Eye & Laser Center with offices serving Flint in Saginaw and Grand Blanc Michigan. He performs Lens Implants (IOL) and Cataract Surgery in Flint and Grand Blanc for Cataract patients from throughout Michigan at Genesys Regional Medical Center and the Surgery Center at Health Park in Grand Blanc and McClaren Regional Medical Center and The Surgery Center in Flint. Dr. Rohr received his Medical Degree from Des Moines University School of Medicine and completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. In addition Dr. Rohr attended a Fellowship in Refractive and Cataract Surgery sponsored by the Colorado Eye Institute and Michigan State University. Dr. Rohr is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Michigan State University-College of Osteopathic Medicine where he teaches new eye surgeons about Cataract Surgery and Cataracts in Michigan.
Dr. Rohr treats his Flint Cataract patients with advanced techniques of Cataract Surgery that require only a very tiny incision, no patches and only eye drops for anesthesia-the “no stitch, no patch, no needle” Cataract Surgery procedure-so that his patients can benefit from very quick visual recovery times with minimal interruption in their daily routines.
