Rajesh Rajpal, M.D. is a Cataract Surgeon in Washington, D.C. where he is the Medical Director of Cornea Consultants. Dr. Rajpal received his Medical Degree from the Medical College of Virgina completed a Residency in Ophthalmology at the Medical College of Virgina as well. He then attended a fellowship in Cornea and External Diseases at Wills Eye Hospital. In addition, Dr. Rajpal played a key role in implementing the Laser Eye Surgery program at the George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Rajpal provides his patients with advanced techniques of Cataract Surgery in Washington, D.C, Virginia and Maryland that require only a very tiny incision, no patches and only eye drops for anesthesia-the "no stitch, no patch, no needle" Cataract Surgery procedure-so that his patients can benefit from very quick visual recovery times with minimal interruption in their daily routines.

He serves as a Clinical Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Georgetown University School of Medicine and Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Dr. Rajpal is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and was honored with the Achievement Award by the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Rajpal currently serves as the consultant for Corneal Disease and Surgery at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Previously, he served as President of the Washington, D.C. Ophthalmological Society.
