Philip J. Penrose, M.D. provides comprehensive care for Cataracts in Monterey and Salinas. Dr. Penrose is Cataract Surgeon in Monterey County, where he provides comprehensive Cataract examinations and consultations as well as Cataract Surgery for Monterey and Salinas Cataract patients at the Monterey Peninsula Surgery Center-Ryan Ranch. Dr. Penrose received his Medical Degree from University of Colorado School of Medicine and completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. He maintains an academic affiliation with California Pacific Medical Center where is trains young eye surgeons in techniques of Cataract Surgery and Intraocular Lens Implantation (IOL).
