Roger C. Husted, M.D. has been providing eye care and Cataract Surgery on the Monterey Peninsula since 1975. He is a well recognized Cataract Surgeon at Monterey Bay Eye Center in California, where he provides comprehensive Cataract examinations and consultations as well as Cataract Surgery for Monterey and Salinas Cataract patients at the Monterey Peninsula Surgery Center-Ryan Ranch. Dr. Husted received his Medical Degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at Letterman Army Medical Center followed by a Fellowship at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. He continues to serve as an Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at California Pacific Medical Center and as an Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology-UCSF at Natividad Medical Center in Salinas California.
Dr. Husted provides advanced technique Cataract Surgery in Salinas and Monterey that requires only a very tiny incision, no patches and only eye drops for anesthesia-the “no stitch, no patch, no needle” small incision Cataract Surgery procedure-so that his patients can benefit from very quick visual recovery times with minimal interruption in their daily routines.
