Dr. Ellis is dedicated to helping patients with Cataracts in San Francisco, San Jose-Silicon Valley, Oakland and Sacramento achieve their vision correction goals after Cataract Surgery. To help his patients achieve greater independence and possibly eliminate the need for eyeglasses, reading glasses or bifocals after Cataract Surgery, he recommends near vision presbyopia correcting lens implants, such as the AcrySof® ReSTOR® Lens Implant (IOL), the Crystalens® Accommodating Lens Implant (IOL), the Tecnis® Multifocal Lens Implant (IOL) and the ReZoom™ Multifocal Lens Implant (IOL).

Dr. Ellis is certified by and is a Fellow of the American Board of Ophthalmology and the American College of Eye Surgeons, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the California Medical Association, the American Medical Association, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the Society of Geriatric Ophthalmology.
