Eric Donnenfeld, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a Cornea Specialist, Refractive Surgeon and Cataract Surgeon on Long Island at Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island (OCLI), a multispeciality Ophthalmology practice conveniently serving Long Island eye care patients at their office locations in Lynbrook at 360 Merrick Road and in Rockville Centre at the Ryan Medical Arts Building, 2000 North Village Avenue. Dr. Donnenfeld received his Medical Degree from the Dartmouth Medical School and completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York. Prior to joining OCLI and providing Cornea Transplants, LASIK & Laser Vision Correction, Refractive Surgery and treating Cataracts on Long Island, Dr. Donnenfeld completed a Fellowship in Cornea Disease and Surgery at Wills Eye Hospital.
He is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at New York University Medical Center and is Co-Chairman of Cornea and External Disease at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. He has served as Program Director at Cornell-North Shore University Hospital on Long Island and serves on the Editorial Board of five eye surgery journals and is the Surgical Director of the Lions Eye Bank for Long Island. He has served as President of the Nassau Surgical Society and he has served on the Board of Directors of the Nassau Academy of Medicine, the American College of Surgeons, Long Island Chapter, and the Nassau Surgical Society.
